Your gallery images will be carefully edited for color, lighting, and polish to ensure they truly shine.

Please note that extensive retouching, such as head swapping, removing glare from glasses, item removal, tan line adjustment, or extreme acne correction, is not included.

After our consultation to confirm dates, locations, and package details, you'll receive a link to securely book your session. Once you enter your information and pay the deposit, you’ll receive text reminders the day before your session to ensure you’re all set.

Once your gallery is ready, you can easily share it with anyone you choose. Those you share it with can enter using their own email, view images, download (if you'd like), and print on their own. It’s a great option for families or groups who want to select their own images—no extra work for you, just send the link!

You’ve probably heard of "golden hour"—the time just after sunrise and before sunset. While this light can be beautiful, it’s not always perfect. Many factors, like location, weather, and time of year, affect the light, and these can change quickly. Sunsets, for example, offer dynamic skies and stunning light, but they aren’t always guaranteed, and we love them because they’re rare, making them extra special when they happen.

Cloudy skies, especially from late fall through early summer, can be fantastic for groups and events, providing even, flattering light with fewer harsh shadows.

In Idaho, the golden hour varies greatly. During the long days of summer, it can occur as early as 6 AM and as late as 9 PM, which can be challenging for most people. That's why we plan based on what works best for your schedule and location, not just the light.

For a more private, crowd-free experience, weekday mornings are ideal in busy areas like McCall during the summer. Fall is especially busy in the Boise area—mid-October is peak color season, and sunset times fill up fast!

But no matter the time of day or season we’ll work together to find what works best for you.

All of our locations are public spaces, ranging from urban areas to mountain settings, and these spots may have other people around. If your focus is on you as the subject, the background will often be softly blurred, keeping the attention on you. However, if you’d like the environment to be a more visible part of the image—such as capturing a scenic landscape or the story of the location—that can be incorporated into the shot.

We’ll discuss your preferences during our planning call to choose the best location based on your vision. Public spaces come with their own set of rules, possible crowds, and sometimes fees, so it’s important to keep that in mind when planning.

If you have a specific location in mind that’s outside of my suggestions, there may be additional travel and time fees. Let’s work together to find the perfect spot that captures your style and memories!

Your location is the starting point for your photo session, whether it’s a park, a studio, downtown, or by the lake. We'll explore the area to capture a variety of backgrounds and looks.

If we need to drive to a different spot, that will count as a new location.

To make the most of each location, it’s helpful if you can easily change outfits or add layers. This allows us to create diverse looks without moving to a different area.

The number of digital photos in your gallery will vary depending on the session, but you can expect a wide selection of images.

My camera shoots up to 6 images per second, allowing us to capture many moments throughout your session, providing you with plenty of options for printing, albums, or any other use you have in mind.

You can easily download and share your images directly from the online gallery. Feel free to share the gallery with family and friends for convenient viewing and product orders.

You will also receive exclusive rights to download and print all the images from your gallery, giving you the freedom to create and share as you wish.

Every photo session is different and always evolving. Whether it’s an image from a website, Pinterest, or my own portfolio, I can’t guarantee we’ll replicate a specific photo. Everyone is unique, and your photos should reflect that. Our main focus will be on using the location and lighting to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind images that suit your session.

That said, if you have a favorite pose or a fun family shot you used to do as kids, go for it! Just keep in mind—it may not turn out exactly the way you envision it, but we’ll have fun trying.

I know life can be unpredictable. You can change your session date up to 72 hours before your session without any extra charge. If you reschedule with less notice, there may be a $50 fee. If you cancel entirely, you lose the full Session booking cost.

But if you can't make it and want someone else to enjoy the session, you can transfer the session to them for any package.

As a full-time photographer, I personally manage every part of your session—from planning and shooting to emails, invoicing, and editing. All images start as RAW files, which can’t be viewed or shared as-is. Each one is carefully refined for light, color, and detail before being converted to JPG for delivery. That’s how I create the polished, professional look you see on my website.

Full galleries are typically delivered in:
• Winter & Spring: 3–4 weeks
• Summer & Fall: 4–6 weeks

Expedited galleries aren’t offered, but if you need a few favorites by a specific date, just let me know ahead of time so we can plan for it.
